Designed to distract and provide your bird with something more appropriate to preen. Preening collars are made from a soft fleece material which your bird can pick, nibble, and pull to their heart's desire. Preening collars are not meant to be the sole solution to your bird's feather picking, rather a tool to prevent the bird from increasing the severity of their condition while the root cause and explored and rectified.

Specs & Sizing

Each preening collar has 4 double-rows of the fleece cut into sections roughly ⅜" to ⅝" wide. If your bird has sufficiently preened one side, simply invert the collar for a nearly-new side!

Medium sized collar is best fit to small parrots and larger parakeets. Most large conures (Blue-crowned, Golden, etc.), mini macaws (Hahn's, etc.) will fit this size. Large lorikeets (Black, Cardinal, etc.), most African Greys (Timneh, Congo), most Amazons (Blue-fronted, most Double-Yellow), and smaller cockatoos (Goffin's, Citron, etc.)
